On Friday 28th Feb, James will be performing a selection of poems at Academy Late - the launch event for the new Salon Membership scheme at the Royal Scottish Academy. He’ll be performing alongside exhibiting New Contemporaries and Sarra Wild and Polyfilla. It’s going to be an exciting event and you are all invited! (to buy a ticket) 😂 It’s on 8:30-10:30pm and Leith Distillery’s Lindandlime gin(s) is included in the ticket price. 😍 

“The evening will be hosted by Polyfilla, an alternative queer drag performer, Academy Late will let you enjoy RSA New Contemporaries after dark in the magnificent surroundings of the Royal Scottish Academy. View new artwork by emerging talents and chat with exhibitors in a late-night atmosphere, Glasgow based DJ, curator and promoter Sarra Wild will be playing a powerful set of cutting-edge music, and there will be live performances by exhibiting artists Katherine Fay Allan, Bibo Keeley and guest performer James Alexander McKenzie throughout the evening. Entry to the exhibition and drinks by Leith Distillery are included in the ticket price. Over 18s only.”
